Projects for conservation and environmental protection from pollution

We want to improve the state of the environment, therefore we conduct our activities in several main directions:

• Protection of wild nature. We take measures to conserve rare and endangered species of animals. In the park “Beremytske” we give a shelter to huge number of animals, some of them are on the verge of extinction, so their protection becomes an important task for us.
• Restoration of natural complexes inherent to the territory of the Chernigov region and other regions of Ukraine.
• Support and interaction with reservations and national parks. We cooperate with such famous national parks as Hortobágy and Roztoczan National Park.
• Study of biological diversity.
• Preservation of nature and environment through promotion of principles of rational nature management, careful attitude to natural resources. We pay special attention to forest management, since we believe that people’s thoughtless activity shouldn’t lead to deforestation and leave future generations without the “lungs of the planet” and the many species of living beings.
• Development of ecological tourism and recreation. So, on the basis of the nature park “Beremytske” we create all conditions for attracting an increasing number of people which visit natural sites, that will ensure not only the formation of a responsible attitude towards nature, but also the raising of the financial condition of the local population.
• The education of ecological culture that will allow us to radically change the attitude of mankind and solve the problems of nature protection.
• Formation of conditions for the development of researches works. The base of our park “Beremytske” enables students and scientists to conduct practical study of flora and fauna, and write diploma and candidate works.
• Rewilding is a program for the return of preserved large animals to their historic habitats. In this program we cooperate with a few international organizations that contribute to a comprehensive study of foreign experience in this activity.
• Work with volunteers.

All our environmental projects are aimed at bringing the environmental and nature protection culture to a new level.

In each of our areas of work, we conduct many activities in order to fulfill our goals as fully as possible.

In addition, we encourage international cooperation and believe that sharing knowledge, environmental technologies and principles will help to achieve a common goal together, and nature protection will move from “just talk” into action.

Since the activity of man has led to terrible consequences in the form of ecological catastrophes, the extinction of unique species of animals and plants, the reduction of minerals, the pollution of the atmosphere and the world’s oceans, the destruction of the ozone layer, respectively, the person can correct their mistakes by themselves and try to live in harmony with nature in the future.

We develop environmental education in our work, in order for people to understand the principles of handling the environment and the nature world since childhood.

The protection of the environment from the pollution is another important task of our foundation. We work in this direction from the point of view of teaching rational environmental management and also that people learn to take responsibility for influence on nature.

We are open to new ideas, projects and plans, ready to cooperate and learn from foreign experience to improve work on our main areas. We believe that it is possible to save and restore the environment by joint efforts. Nature conservation is a joint business!
