The tree planting project is being carried out by Beremytske Biosphere Charitable Organisation within the framework of the restoration of the Podesinniia mosaic ecosystems on the territory of the Nature Park Beremytske. The project was started under the mission of Rewilding Europe to revive European Natural Complexes.
The project aimed at restoring the natural biodiversity of the region includes the planting of native flora species at biotopes located in the Nature Park Beremytske at the sites of former deforestation and the growth of invasive species as a result of anthropogenic impact.
Restoration of floral diversity and mosaic landscape will increase fauna composition and restore the biodiversity of the region. This will create conditions for sustainable development of the region, allow scientists to research and study nature, and will give an impulse to the development of green tourism. As a result, Chernihiv region and Ukraine generally will receive qualitatively new ecosystem services.
As part of this project, Beremytske Biosphere Charitable Organization expects that the phased planting will contribute to ecological succession and increase the flora composition not only in the territory of the Nature Park Beremytske, but also in the surrounding biotopes. Together with the natural grazing it will help to create biocenoses most possible close to those that were in the region to human impact.
You will have the opportunity to participate in the restoration of Chernihiv Polissiia natural complexes and work with us to reduce the effects of climate change on the planet. For legal entities, it is also a great opportunity to implement the concept of corporate social responsibility and conduct open air teambuilding activities. For the most active participants, the Nature Park Beremytske guarantees comprehensive media coverage of your participation in the project, as well as the installation of name plates in the places where the planting was carried out.

The Beremytske Biosphere Charitable Organisation will advise on planting material and select a form of cooperation that is convenient for you, depending on your wishes and budget.
You will be able to plant the seedlings you have brought, to hand over the seedlings for planting by Park staff, to finance the purchase of seedlings, or to join the planned planting works in the Park.
