One of the priority areas of the Charitable Organization “Beremytske Biosphere” activity is popularization of modern scientific approaches to the preservation of ethno cultural heritage, introduction of climate education as well as conducting of environmental and agro-cultural activities. New knowledge and methods will be useful for both young scientists and all those willing to adopt innovative world experience.
It happens quite often that the language barrier is standing in the way of reading the specialized (scientific) literature, where translation of a narrow-profile text requires a high level of foreign language knowledge and cannot be fully replaced by working with a dictionary.

The book is about the largest terrestrial mammal displaced and destroyed by man, about its ancestors and descendants, about the important role of “the aurochs” for the ecosystem – they are year-round “architects” of landscapes and contribute to the conservation of biodiversity. The history of European cattle, its domestication, destruction, second birth and rebreeding is described.
The book is dedicated to nature and its ability to restore, the human as a whole, and in particular to the brothers Heinz and Lutz Heck, who were inspired by the idea to rebreed the disappeared cattle and contributed to its implementation.
