Today we live in the Anthropocene, when the anthropogenic (human) factor has a significant impact on flora and fauna, formation of reliefs and air condition.
Animals are deprived of their usual habitats and migration routes.
In such circumstances, it shall be understood that their survival depends on our attitude.
As a result of evolution, some representatives of fauna and ornitofauna have adapted to live in the modern urban world, becoming synatropes (those who live next to humans).
However, most members of the animal kingdom continue to live a wild life where there is no place for civilization.
The big problem is the reduction of populations of many species, because the life of each animal and bird is important for biodiversity conservation.

An important principle our Foundation is governed by in its activities is the preservation and maintenance of unique biogeocenoses of territories, where wild animals are rehabilitated.
We rehabilitate and adapt native species to avoid invasive (foreign) consequences of intervention.
Reintroduction (return of the species to the area of its natural existence, where it for some reason disappeared) is also a common practice of our activities, but it requires a more detailed study and individual approach.

- If you have found an injured animal/bird, young animal with obvious signs of taking away from the mother or a wild animal in the city, you should first contact your local animal rescue service or call 101.
- When arriving the rescue professionals will check up the condition of the animal and if necessary take it to a veterinary clinic or animal rehabilitation center.
- After treatment in veterinary facilities, or sometimes immediately, the animals are taken to a wildlife rehabilitation center.
- In the rehabilitation center, the animal receives complete nutrition, undergoes a post-traumatic examination and an adaptation program to restore the skills necessary for wild life.
- Upon completion of the rehabilitation course, the animals are released into the wild in a protected area.

Before release, the birds are banded with the rings of international standard, provided by the Ukrainian Bird Ringing Center.
This is a large-scale and long-term project, so there are many options for cooperation and support at any stage:
- financial support of the project
- timely detection of animals in need
- transfer of the animals or information about them to the relevant authorities
- become a patron for animals in rehabilitation.

Animals that have been taken away from the wild by humans need rehabilitation before returning to their normal habitat.
